WHAT UP Y'ALL!? Welcome or welcome back to my blog!!😁
Hope you are all feeling great!
Dang...it's almost over, guys. I can't believe it! It feels like we've just started this project...this friendship...it's all moving so fast...
I just want to say a few things before our time comes to an end.
Let's dive in! (Omg...my intro line. I will remember this when I leave...😢)
Okay, so because this is basically my last post, (other than my final project and CCR), I wanted to take a moment to bring the memories back from my filming adventure and reflect on how the journey was for me.
When I first heard about the new project Cambridge wanted us to do, to be honest, I panicked. (Not that it’s a surprise…I panic and worry about almost anything.😂). Thoughts began to run through my head, like:
- This seems like a lot of stuff…
- What if I’m not good enough to film?
- I’ll need all the help I can get.
- WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?!?
Okay, maybe not the last one. But all the others are accurate. When it comes to projects, I always get nervous about the time constraint and all the requirements that need to be completed. Also, can everyone agree that due dates give anxiety? (No? Okay, fine then.). In the process of doing this project, however, I now understand the whole purpose of a project: to teach us about responsibility and procrastination! At least that’s what I learned from it.
Besides the education materials and tips such as constructing a film opening, learning about the different shots, angles, compositions, etc., and some editing skills, I learned a lot about myself. (I know that sounds cringey or weird or both, but it’s the truth! Sometimes you can learn more from an assignment than any book, speech or tv show. Sometimes all you have to do is just live life and lessons just comes out of the blue, if that makes sense.)
This project was difficult…I can believe I got it done! I was panicking in the beginning of the project (I know…already?) because everyone had an idea of what they were going to do, and of course, I didn’t. But now I realize it takes time to get an idea, and by taking that time, you are more likely to develop something great! Think of it as drawing-if you rush your art, it will look like trash. But, if you take your time and get everything just right, your art will look ten times better!
The most challenging part for me was definitely the editing. Ugh…it took me forever to do this!! The worst part was some of the softwares weren’t compatible to my computer, so I had to try other ones. Then, when I finally found Premium Rush on Adobe, I had the hardest time figuring out how to use it. (Let me just say…YouTube is a lifesaver.😄)
The easiest part was creating the advertisement and the letter, thanks to my absolute besties, Canva. I cannot thank it enough for making my life so much easier. It is literally my favorite website ever!!😆
Lastly, I just want to say how fun it was making my blog. At times, I did NOT feel like doing them, but I really enjoyed it for the most part. I got to have a conversation and be myself without anyone judging. This is something that I cherish, and I was actually thinking of starting a blog for real so that I can share what’s on my mind with some people who might understand me. The blogs were my favorite part of the project, and I’m glad I got to express who I am.
So…there you have it guys. This is my last “real” blog post. Wow. This is really happening.
I want to thank you guys for reading my blogs and being here. It means a lot to me that people care about what I have to say. I couldn’t have done any of this without your support.❤😊
Thank you guys. Goodbye, and I hope your project will be as good as mine. (Last cringey joke before I leave!)
And remember…
Stay arimazing!! 🥰
(Love you guys.)
